At 特学校, science is for everyone. With a focus on experiential learning, students are challenged to apply what they discover in projects 和 labs to the real world.

In the classes offered by the 科学系, every girl learns how to ask a research question, clearly synthesize 和 share her findings, 和 apply her learning to 解决 a problem.

Our classes take advantage of our uncommonly beautiful campus 和 school resources. 在物理, students hike to the bamboo forest to use their knowledge of sound 和 waves to create flutes in our Engineering Shop. In Biology, our classes have been known to hatch chicks 和 ducklings for local community farms! Our upper-level electives such as Engineering 和 3D Design & Fabrication are service learning classes 和 create projects that directly benefit the regional community. Advanced Placement science courses combine the same fun 和 love of learning with the rigor of a college level class.

科学 & Mathematical Literacy
